Glenyss is a New Zealander who has lived half her adult life in the USA. She has had almost 40 years working in the healthcare profession in both countries, initially as a Medical Social Worker and then as a Registered Nurse. She has worked in multiple fields including Oncology, Hospice and Behavioral Health. More recently she has been and remains responsible for developing holistic services within a behavioral health facility.
Glenyss has pursued studies with: Elisabeth Kubler Ross MD, renowned for her book, Death and Dying, and for founding the Hospice movement in the USA; Lynn V. Andrews, teacher of Shamanic knowledge; Jonathan Goldman and Vickie Dodd, sound healers; and David Berceli, founder of the Trauma and Tension Release Exercise (TRE) process.
Glenyss also practices privately the modalities of energy healing, healing with sound, and trauma release along with being open to offering a variety of classes on several topics including loss and grief and aspects of holistic healing, as needed.
